Southport Rescue along with Coastguard and Police Air Service in search for vulnerable person

Holyhead Coastguard tasked our ATVs to help Merseyside Police and Southport Coastguard in the search for a vulnerable missing person in the region of Southport.

The quads conducted a search of the beach down to Formby. Our UAS (drone) also assisted in the search, covering the beach, Southport’s Marine Lake and surrounding areas, before the arrival of the National Police Air Service helicopter.

After an extensive search concluding in the early hours, our units were stood down with nothing found.
