Southport Rescue in search for missing man in Formby

Our ATV quad bikes were tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to assist in a multi-agency search for a vulnerable male in the region of Formby sand dunes.

The quads undertook a search of the dunes between Fisherman’s Path and Lifeboat Road. After three hours of searching, which involved Coastguard teams from Southport, Crosby and the Wirral, plus Merseyside Police and Merseyside Lowland Search and Rescue, our quads were stood down with nothing found.
