Southport to Host Prominent City Region Gaming Industry Event

Computer gaming industry businesses from across the City Region are being invited to an evening of professional talks and networking on Wednesday 22nd May.

Organised by InvestSefton and Liverpool Game Dev Network as part of the Spotlight Series, the event will feature talks from special guests Ian Pickles, Chief Operating Officer at Fallen Planet Studios, and Metaverse Developer, Jamie Mulls.

Southport’s Waterfront Hotel is the venue for the May 22nd event. Doors open at 6pm, the presentations are between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, after which there will be refreshments and the opportunity for networking. The event is in partnership with Liverpool City Region Growth Platform and Baltic Broadband.

Tickets for the event are available from Eventbrite.com (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lgdn-presents-spotlight-series-southport-tickets-876559361647?aff=erelpanelorg). When they reserve their tickets, those wishing to attend are asked to pay what they can by making a donation of at least £1.
