Stolen motorbike set on fire in The Walk Southport. Riders run off.

Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service were called to The Walk in Southport at approximately 14.00 hours after a motorbike believed to be stolen was set on fire.

Local residents said that two males not wearing helmets had been seen driving the bike.

The arsonists apparently ran off towards Upper Aughton Road to make their escape.
