Temporary lights on Southport Promenade after large sink hole appeared yesterday

Sefton Council have installed a temporary two way set of traffic lights on the Promenade after a large sink hole appeared yesterday afternoon.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service blocked the road until the Council emergency response team arrived to make the area safe.

It is not known how long it will take to fix the problem.
