The King leaves the town hall in his motorcade

In a move that has deeply touched the hearts of Southport residents, the King made a poignant visit to Southport Town Hall today, arriving shortly after 1:30 PM to honor those affected by the tragic attack on July 29.

During his visit, the monarch held a private meeting with the young people and their families who were most directly impacted by the harrowing events. In a sincere gesture of gratitude, The King also paid homage to the emergency services for their swift and dedicated response during the crisis.

As he arrived, crowds gathered and cheered, filling the air with a palpable sense of unity and support. Outside the Town Hall, a memorial has grown, with hundreds of bunches of flowers and cuddly toys laid in memory of the young victims: Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine.

The King took his time to walk around the carefully placed tributes, engaging with the crowd, waving, and shaking hands. The palpable admiration from the townspeople was clear as applause filled the air when the King paused to look at the memorials.
