Too many passengers bring disruption to Merseyrail Southport line

Due to the large number of passengers travelling to the coast during warm weather the Southport line is disrupted. Disruption is expected until 14:00 25/05.
Impact:
Train services to Southport may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.
