Transport Disruption Expected Due to Virginia Street Closures

Virginia Street will be closed between Scarisbrick New Road and Hamlet Close from Saturday, 12 October 2024, for approximately three consecutive weekends.

Bus diversions are as follows:
Service 44
• From Crossens will operate as normal route to Eastbank Street, then via Scarisbrick New Road, Ash Street to Forest Road, then resume normal route to Southport Hospital/Formby. (Omits Virginia Street).

• From Southport Hospital/Formby will operate as normal route to Forest Road, then via Ash Street, Scarisbrick New Road to Eastbank Street, then resume normal route to Crossens. (Omits Virginia Street)
