Two more charged following incident during suspected bike theft in Southport

Detectives have charged two men in connection with an incident in Southport on the evening of Friday 19 July.
We were contacted at 8.25pm after a 20-year-old man reportedly fell from the rear of a moving white Peugeot Boxer van during a suspected motorbike theft on The Promenade/Leyland Road.
The man suffered head and chest injuries and has been taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Last night we charged Mason McLean, 19, of Gilbert Street, Liverpool city centre with conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle and dangerous driving causing serious injury and Dylan Tollitt, 23, of Grafton Street, Toxteth, with conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle.
Both were remanded to appear at Liverpool magistrates court today, Thursday 15 August.
A third man - Leroy Agatha, 22, of Upper Frederick Street, Liverpool - was previously charged with conspiracy to steal and fraud by false representation and appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Monday 22 July.
