Sunshine replaced Thursday’s heavy rain as visitors enjoyed Ladies Day at Southport Flower Show on Friday, August 21.

Thousands of people attended the event at Victoria Park, with entertainment taking place across the showground. The Garden Theatre was packed for appearances including Su Pollard, best known for playing Peggy Ollerenshaw in Hi-de-Hi!

The 2026 show features show gardens, floral displays, food, shopping and live entertainment, alongside appearances from television and gardening personalities.

Forecasts point to mostly sunny conditions on Saturday, August 22, with a chance of a shower. Sunday, August 23, is expected to be sunny or partly cloudy.

The show continues from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday at Victoria Park, Southport.
