Woodlands Animal Sanctuary Seeks Loving Families for Special Pairs of Cats
Woodlands Animal Sanctuary is appealing for two families to offer homes to two special pairs of cats who cannot be separated. Otis & Oscar and Betsy & Penny have each formed unbreakable bonds and desperately deserve families who can keep them together.
Brothers Otis & Oscar: A Fresh Start
Sibling cats Otis and Oscar were discovered by concerned neighbours in an empty property, left behind with no one to care for them. The pair have since been placed with an experienced fosterer to help them adjust to home life and build confidence.
"Otis and Oscar have come on brilliantly in foster care," said Alex, Woodlands Rehoming Officer. "They're ready now for their forever home, but it's vital they stay together. Their bond as brothers has helped them through a difficult time and separating them would be heartbreaking."
Betsy & Penny: A Mother-Daughter Bond
Mother and daughter duo Betsy and Penny spent seven happy years being cherished by their devoted owner. Following her sad passing, the pair are now seeking a new loving home where they can continue their lives together.
"Betsy and Penny have been through thick and thin together," added Alex. "They've already lost the only home they've known. We're determined to find them somewhere safe where they can stay together and receive the love they deserve."
Why Bonded Pairs Matter
Bonded cats who have lived together develop deep emotional connections. Separating them can cause significant stress, anxiety, and behavioural problems. Adopting a bonded pair means:
They provide companionship for each other when you're out
They're often calmer and more confident together
You get double the love and entertainment
You're giving two cats a second chance, not just one
How to Rehome
Both pairs are ready to meet potential new families. Woodlands Animal Sanctuary conducts home checks to ensure the best match for both cats and families.

"These four beautiful cats have so much love to give," said Alex. "We're confident the right families are out there – they just need to find each other."
