Woodlands Animals Sanctuary's plea for Tilly: Help us find her forever home!
Woodlands – Tilly needs a new home
The curse of the black and white cat strikes again! Tilly is a beautiful, 6-year-old cat who has been with Woodlands Animals Sanctuary since last October! Although originally rehomed from Woodlands as a kitten, she is not settling back into shelter life and the team are desperate for her to find her perfect loving home.
Tilly is experiencing teenage angst and is struggling to receive and show affection, unless it is under very strict and particular circumstances. The team are therefore looking for a very understanding home, with no children, no other pets and plenty of space away from busy/main roads where she can have space to play and stretch her legs unaccompanied. Tilly will need to be given time and space to get to know her new parents and to build confidence with them before receiving cuddles. The team and their valued volunteers have been spending a lot of time with Tilly, and with those she is comfortable with, she now enjoys a fuss, brush and treats. When she is in the mood for them, that is!
As with all the cats who have a stay at Woodlands, Tilly has had a full vet check, is up to date with her vaccinations, worming and flea treatments, is spayed, micro-chipped & will also come with 4 weeks free insurance with Pet Plan.
If you think this sounds like the type of home, you could offer a feline friend, then please fill in the form on Woodlands website and Alex will get in touch with you. https://www.woodlandsanimalsanctuary.org.uk/rehoming/
If Tilly doesn’t sound like the right fit for your home, then why not come along to the sanctuary’s open day on Saturday 8th April, from 11-3. You will be able to meet all the cats available for rehoming, plus all the resident animals.
