Broken metal bench at the Monument has been there 6 weeks

This broken metal bench has been at the side of the Monument in Southport for at least six weeks. It has broken away from its mountings. The Council workers who sweep the streets every morning have not moved it. Hundreds of people walk past it every day.

Southport Town Centre has been the focus of a great deal of attention in recent weeks after the sad events. The bench was like this when the King visited recently.

The Council have now been informed.
