Man arrested on Portland St in Southport given 3 years in jail for drug dealing and failing to stop

Andrew Green (aged 38) of an address in Ormskirk was arrested by Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team based at Southport police station on the 23rd March. 

He was arrested on Portland Street for failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and suspicion of possession with intent to supply class ‘A’ drugs. He was given bail until an appearance at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 25th April.

After breaching his bail conditions, Green attended court, where he was sentenced to 3 years in jail, with an 18 month driving disqualification on release.
