Residents Encouraged to Participate in Liverpool City Region Transport Plan Consultation

All residents are invited to have their say on a new Local Transport Plan for the Liverpool City Region.

The plan outlines how Liverpool City Region Combined Authority will invest in public transport, and the road and walking and cycling networks in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral between 2025-2040.

It includes plans for cheaper tickets, more bus routes, better technology to monitor congestion and road safety and proposals to make it easier and more pleasant to walk, cycle and wheel.

Whether you take the bus every day or have never taken public transport before, this plan will change how you move around the region so it’s important Liverpool City Region Combined Authority hears from as many people as possible, before they finalise the plans in 2025.

How to take part in the consultation
The consultation is open until Sunday 15 December 2024. To read the plans and take part in an online survey, visit the Liverpool City Region website.
