Vehicle stuck after being driven onto Birkdale beach

Despite the warning signs that say "no vehicles beyond this point" the driver of this vehicle decided that he knew better and attempted to drive down the track that the Shrimpers use at Weld Road Birkdale.

After a hundred yards or so the vehicle had become well and truly bogged down.

The owner is now digging around the vehicle in an attempt to free it. He might have to bite the bullet and pay for someone to tow him out.
